本日は、小学3年生70名が総合学習で来館です。
元気いっぱいに質問が飛び交います。

本日、10畳の間で、英語教室が開かれました。

英語で自己紹介が出来たらいいですね。

来年の9月で、旧大島邸は建築から130周年を迎えます。

5年前に西城内から移築・復原した旧大島邸。
その際、できる限り建築当初の部材をそのまま使われています。

ご来館の際には、この建物の歴史にも、
思いを馳せていただけますと幸いです。
(ご鑑賞の際、邸内の建具や柱には、お手を触れませんようお願い致します)

On the September of next year, this The Former Oshima Residence will mark the 130 years of the building.

This building was relocated this place 5 years ago.
But there are many parts which reuse the originals.

Please feel the atmosphere of Meiji era Japan if you enter this building.
(Please do not touch the exbits in this building.)

8畳客間の床の間は欅材、床框は鉄刀木（たがやさん）材、
床天は杉材です。
それぞれに特徴があります。

素敵な浴衣姿のお客様がお見えになりました。
あまりの美しさに撮影をお願いしました。

本日8畳の客間にて、五葉会さんによる茶花教室が行われました。

使用された花材は、柴栗、水引、金水引、オトコエシ、サイヨウシャジン、竜胆、高砂百合、青花藤袴の8種類だそう。
軽やかで涼しげな、夏らしい花が多く感じました。

Today, flower arrangement lesson for a tea ceremony were hold.

There were used various summer flowers, and those looks clear and bright.

受付の際にその旨を伺い、驚くとともにとても嬉しく感じました

Today, Mr. Oshima (this residence's landlord) 's great-great-grandchild came here with her friends.
We didn't know that, so we were very surprised and feel happy when we hear that.

Today's weather in Karatsu is really sunny.
We hope they spent great time in here, Karatsu.
